What we doLeaves in the City brings you specialist understanding of both commercial demands and environmental concerns. Our balanced view enables us to bring clarity and focus to the implementation of green 'projects' that will effectively support your environmental policy. We are able to advise and initiate new projects efficiently , no matter how small or large the undertaking. At the same time, we work with you in a way that minimises the impact on your normal commercial activity. Any schemes put in place are tailored to your company, to the nature of your business and with a view to both engaging and benefitting your employees. How we startedIt is not easy to find the time or spare the resources within a company to implement environmental projects. From working with various clients on similar projects, we know that very well. We also know that many projects, once launched, become a burden to manage and maintain. Leaves in the City is here to help. We can facilitate the design, development and implementation of schemes that not only work, and result in the actual planting of trees, but that can also be measured and accounted for in a business world. Case Study:
Leaves in the City is working with English Garden FairTrade Tea.
For this particular project, for every 10 cases of tea sold, a tree
will be planted. For every 500 trees planted, a plaque will be
erected to celebrate English Garden FairTrade tea commitment to the
project. Local species of trees are planted in derelict areas on
the North West - species include Rowan, Oak, Field Maple, Alder,
Beech, Silver Birch, Holly and Ash. This commitment will ensure
100's of trees are planted for the local community to enjoy.
Leaves in the CIty work with Community Forests
North West to manage the planting and to ensure a clear and transparent audit trail
